JEFFREY S. GOSIN, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Gosin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He then completed his Surgical Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was Chief Surgical Resident. After his residency, he remained at Robert Wood Johnson and completed an accredited fellowship in Vascular Surgery, performed medical research, and had numerous papers published in scientific journals. He is Board Certified in Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Gosin’s practice includes Vascular, Endovascular, General and Laparoscopic Surgery. His areas of special interest include stroke prevention (treatment of carotid artery disease,) peripheral arterial disease (PAD), abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and treatment of varicose veins. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques and new medical technology and was the first area surgeon to perform a stent graft repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm. His expertise in minimally invasive techniques allows Dr. Gosin to treat many vascular conditions without the need for major surgery. His dedication to the treatment of the circulatory system led to the development of Jersey Shore Center for Vascular Health. Dr. Gosin is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of many national Surgical and Vascular Surgical associations and societies including The Society for Vascular Surgery, The Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, The Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and the Eastern Vascular Society. In 2003 he became the Director of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Shore Memorial Hospital and Medical Director of the CardioVascular Institute. When not practicing surgery, Dr. Gosin enjoys boating, the beach, golf and spending time with his wife and three children. |
